About the Calendar

The Foxy Hunters Calendar was conceived by Photographer David Betteridge of DHB Photography. Having photographed many equestrian events and countless days hunting David became only too aware of the dangerous nature of the sport.The initial idea was to raise funds for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance, which plays such a vital role for local Horse riders. After canvassing the opinion of those involved it was decided to add a national aspect to the fund raising by also supporting Help for Heroes. When a friend’s life was saved by the Hampshire and IOW Air Ambulance Crew following a riding accident the project became even more important and very personal.

All the models involved in this project are amateurs for most this is the first time in front of a camera all of them have an involvement with Horse riding either competing just for fun.
